How to look up a California license
- Enter the license number, including the letter, if you have it. A, C, and G are different licenses.
- Or enter the last name, and a first name when the last name is common.
- Read status and expiration. Current means the file still lists the license that way. Delinquent means it was not renewed by the expiration date.
- Complaints and orders are not in this file. The board’s search is at search.dca.ca.gov.

What does delinquent mean?
Delinquent means the license was not renewed by its expiration date. Is an NPI the same check?
